Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a MSO medical group in Long Beach. They are looking to hire multiple Medical Credentialing Analyst's. This will be for a 6-8 month project. The pay is $25-$30 per hour based on experience.

Credentialing Analyst (Temp)
This role supports high-volume provider credentialing operations to ensure timely onboarding, data accuracy, and compliance with NCQA, CMS, State, and Health Plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process credentialing/recredentialing files (collect, review, and organize provider documentation)
  • Follow up with providers/practices for missing or incomplete information
  • Perform and coordinate Primary Source Verification (PSV)(licenses, DEA, board certs, education, sanctions, malpractice)
  • Support provider onboarding and track credentialing packet completion
  • Maintain accurate data entry and updates in credentialing systems
  • Monitor and report on:
    • File completeness
    • Recredentialing expirations
    • Cycle times and backlog
  • Assist with audit readiness (NCQA, health plan, internal audits) and file quality reviews
  • Validate provider demographic and roster data
  • Support backlog reduction and special projects
  • Handle administrative tasks (document scanning, indexing, system updates)

Focus of Role:
Increase credentialing capacity during high-volume periods (onboarding, acquisitions, expansions, audits) while ensuring compliance and timely provider activation.
